Cow Work Clinic – June 15, 2019

On Saturday, June 15th, we’ll have a “Cow Work Clinic” which will be held in the covered arena at my new training facility.

Your instructor will be Larry Trocha.

You’ll be working live cattle as well as the mechanical cow.

The clinic will start at 10 AM sharp and will go to approximately 2 PM. There will be a 30 minute lunch break at noon so bring your lunch or a snack.

Every rider will receive individual instruction which fits their goals and their horse’s level of training.

All levels of riders and horses are welcome. However, you need to be experienced enough to not fall off… and your horse trained well enough to be controlable.

What to bring to the clinic:

Boots and spurs are mandatory.

Bring your own water bucket (your horse drinks from your bucket only).

Your horse’s “bit” or “bits”. No horse will be ridden with a halter.

This clinic is meant to be fun, laid-back and helpful. No need for nervous, white knuckles.

However, it’s also designed to get the most out of you and your horse.

Spectators are welcome… no charge (bring a lawn chair).

Here are some of the things we’ll be working on:

# Improving your horse’s stops, turns, back-up, head position, suppleness and willingness. Whatever level your horse’s training, we’ll work him accordingly.

# The rider’s hands, legs, seat and understanding of how to apply the cues for better performance.

# Hooking up with the cow and reading cattle body language.

# Positioning your horse’s body for better form and style when working the cow.

Tuition is $75… and limited to only a small group of riders.

NOTE: If you reserve a spot in the clinic and can’t make it, notify me ASAP. No refunds will be given. However, you will receive a private lesson on a day which is more convenient for you.
